After waking up this morning, I just couldn’t pull it together. So, I crawled back into bed for a bit. I went in a little later than usual (nearly two hours), but that’s why I put in a few extra hours on the front ends of my work weeks: It gives me some leeway for the tail end of the week. Work wasn’t bad. The lunchtime workout was good.

I came home after work, I plopped down in one of the living room chairs… and fell asleep for an hour-and-a-half. And I had the hardest time waking up. No, that’s not entirely correct. I had a hard time wanting to stay awake. But I did.

and I met for dinner at Cheers. We ate. We chatted. We took in some decent people-watching. It was nice to hang out with Ms. ; it made for a nice end to the day.

We had our collective asses handed to us, then and tonight. But, tonight’s run wasn’t too bad. We cleared the mission and life was good again.

I was talking with about how lame “Hover” is as a power, but I had to (grudgingly) admit that it has come in handy a couple of times. And that reminded me of this:
