Sunday
Ow.

That’s the word that best describes how I felt this morning. Frisbee and bowling apparently kicked my ass (and lower back and right knee) yesterday. Yes, they were fun and I enjoyed every moment of them, but…. Oy Gevalt! At least I did manage to sleep in until 11:30. And it was wonderful.

The first part of the day was fairly uneventful. I watched TV, surfed and chatted, and… did some more laundry. After I got tired of being at home, I headed to Borders for coffee and drawing. It was good; even joined me for a while. After that, it was off to Steve and John’s house for their annual Oscar bash. And it was, once again, a blast. I had a GREAT time. They throw amazing parties. Period.

Stray Toasters

  • They finally gave a release date to Phone Booth. I want to see this, but it’s a Joel Schumaker film, so I’m a little leery… especially after the Batman and Robin fiasco. We shall see… After all, he’s directed a few movies and music videos that I liked, so there is hope. Faint, but it is hope nonetheless.
  • Talked to members of the paternal side of the family today. All’s well with them… for the most part – it seems that Adam isn’t happy with the base that he’s been assigned to for the summer. In Texas. I’ll just say that he isn’t fond of Texas (for whatever reasons) and leave it there.
  • I bought new copies (read: “Replacement copies”) of The Art of War and Way of the Peaceful Warrior this afternoon.
  • Cafè Mocha and mini chocolate Bundt cake. ‘Nuff said.

Word of the Day
Harakiri (and the person responsible knows why)

And now, sleep….

Namaste.
