Saturday – 20 January 2007
It’s been a good, albeit cold, day.  Not a lot to report.  Up early.  Putzed around a bit in the Interweb.  Spent a good portion of the afternoon helping set up an entertainment center and the electronics that reside in it.

It’s snowing.  Yet again.  *shrug*  Just another thing you get used to when living in a state that has eight months of Winter.  (No comments from the Peanut Gallery, .)  “Utah: The Greatest Snow on Earth!”  No, really… it is.  It says so on the license plates.

Stray Toasters

  • I like looking at ad work.  Luerzer’s Archive is a publication that I often look for when I go to a bookstore.  This morning, I was looking at an ad site, Ads of the World, that I stumbled across a few days ago; yesterday’s LEGO ads were found there.  I found a few things that caught my eye, including these (click for larger images):
    •   I have to agree with the fifth comment on this one.
  • How is it that DC Comics can put out 52, a weekly comic – WEEKLY! – for thirty-seven weeks (to date) and not miss a deadline, while Marvel Comics has had to delay at least two issues the core Civil Bore War books?  Need I even mention that 52 has proven far more interesting to me than Civil Bore?  No?  Okay, just checking.
  • Apple’s Next Product (a Worth 1000 Photoshop contest)
  • : Point Chris in the direction of this review, please: War of the Undead, Part 1
  • “Sweet Christmas!”  Luke Cage and Iron Fist are both going to part of the new New Avengers?!  Kick ass!  More info about the new team can be found here… with spoilers, of course.

I should sleep.

Namaste.
