“Packed like lemmings into shiny metal boxes…”
everyday glory January 23rd, 2007Tuesday – 23 January 2007
Another day in the Valleys. Salt Lake and Utah, that is. So far, it’s been a good day. I have coffee. I have cinnamon rolls. I had a rather event-free ride to work; coworker John is now referring to the commute as “Race of the Monkeys.” I like that. This morning’s race had a good soundtrack.
- Will Smith – Wild Wild West
- Blackstreet (ft. Mya, Ma$e and Blink) – Take Me There
- emmet swimming – 8:45
- Veruca Salt – Volcano Girls
- Harry Connick, Jr. – She
- Rob Base and DJ Easy Rock – It Takes Two
Last night, post-work was good. I stopped off to see
D&D night at
Stray Toasters
- I almost typed “Packed like lemmings into shiny metal boxers…” for the title of this post. That’s almost as good as “Stray Taoists.”
- Andy Griffith vs. PATRIOT Act
: Gentleman’s Emporium - Has anyone else noticed that Extreme’s More Than Words and Color Me Badd’s I Wanna Sex You Up are fundamentally the same song? Extreme is just a little more… subtle, whereas CMB just straight up comes out and says, “Hey, let’s get our swerve on.”
- Godzilla vs. Cthulhu
- From PRI’s Studio 360: American Icons – Superman
- Sabirah: Horn. Khalimsport.
- Designer Headgear for Anti-Conformist Klansmen
- Top Five Movies about Giant Monsters in Manhattan
: Red Octane Speaks Out on Guitar Hero’s Future
Namaste.
