For part of the first hour, they discussed Al Gore’s support of Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean. Gore made his announcement at Dean’s rally… which was held in Harlem. One of the commentators noted that this was an unusual venue for him to have a rally because:

“His rallies have been whiter than the Stockholm chapter of the Barry Manilow fan club.”

And, yes, I got a good laugh out of that.
