Woke up, fell out of bed,

Found my way downstairs the hall and drank a cup,

Today was a good day and a good way to end the week.

Swung by the office to check the mail; there was nothing there of note. From there it was off to Beans & Brews for a cup of frozen mocha goodness – the first B&B frozen mocha I’ve had in far too long. was there; we chatted for a while. And in the “I know that I’ve seen you somewhere before…” category: One of the staff at this B&B looked really familiar… but I couldn’t place her face. It eventually dawned on me: She used to work at the South Jordan B&B. I hate it when I see someone that I recognize but I can’t remember the whys and wherefores.

Back to work.

After work, met up with the usual suspects – and a few unusual ones – for coffee. I didn’t get to work on my drawing very much (I was playing goalie for a certain 2-year-old, more on this in a minute), but was able to help me out with a slight problem I had with proportions.

As I mentioned above, I spent part of my time watching Gabe. Which, usually, is amusing and fun. Tonight was no different. On one of our excursions around the store, he sat down next to a couple on the stairs… and just started talking with them. I wished that I had my camera handy.
