Back in the saddle again.

I can tell that it’s a “Monday,” already, because of my pants. Yes, I am wearing pants… but I’m wearing the wrong pants, so to speak. I had intended to wear blue ones, but picked up a black pair, instead. Thus, this morning’s shoe and sock and belt combination are keyed for blue pants. Not a hugely insurmountable issue, but it is minorly annoying.

Stray Toasters

• It’s official: I’m an uncle again. Rana had Kid #2 this morning at 0534 EDT:
  • It’s a girl!
  • Her name is Sophia.
  • She was 5 lbs, 15 oz.
• My old HDD looks like it may have officially bitten the dust. That’s double-plus ungood because I hadn’t finished migrating data from it. On the other hand, I’m not completely up the creek, as I had already swapped out the HDD for a newer, larger model… and it’s working well. I’m just a little torqued about the possible/highly likely loss of a good bit of data.
