Welcome to the weekend… well, almost the weekend. It’s my “On” Friday, but I’m off next Friday… which will kick off a four-day weekend, thanks to Labor Day. And, as the first one in the bullpen today, I kicked off the morning with Tank! and 2112. That’s not such a bad way to start the morning.

Last night, SaraRules and I went to dinner at Cafe Zupas; it was a nice change of pace. I had the Honey Bacon Club panini and the Shrimp and Sausage Gumbo; SaraRules had the Thai Peanut Chicken Salad and the Yucatan Chicken Tortilla Soup.

After dinner, we met SaraRules’ coworker – and former schoolmate – Melissa at the gym for a workout:

  • Calf Raises – 3 sets/10 reps, 100 lbs
  • Leg Curls – 3 sets/10 reps, 70 lbs
  • Leg Extensions – 3 sets/10 reps, 70 lbs
  • Lower Back Extensions – 3 sets/10 reps
  • Bench Press – 3 sets/10 reps, 185 lbs
  • Sit-ups (incline) – 3 sets/10 reps
  • Curls (dumbbell) – 3 sets/10 reps, 25 lbs
  • Tricep Extensions (rope) – 3 sets/15 reps, 50 lbs
  • Core (plank) – 3 sets, 45 seconds
