Watched Smallville. As a comics fan, I have to admit that I like this adaptation of the Superman mythos. If Lois and Clark could be described as “Superman meets Moonlighting“, then this is something along the lines of “Superman by way of Dawson’s Creek meets The X-Files“. Sure, there are some in-jokes and a little tweaking of continuity, but it works. Pretty well, in fact; I think that it has earned the favorable reviews that it’s received in the press. But, I’m biased. *shrug*
