Today was my mother’s birthday. I sent her cards via USPS and Hallmark.com. She was online when we got up this morning, so Jess and I messaged her. She talked to Jess. A lot. More than me – she didn’t even see my message window. Or she ignored it, which I really don’t think was the case… but I asked Jess to message her and tell her that I was feeling left out. Oddly enough, she found my message window after that. We all had a good laugh out of it. Of course, I called her a few minutes later to properly wish her a “Happy Birthday.” That made for a good start to the day.
The workday was good and fairly productive.
After work, we stopped by to visit with

- Everything seems to be in order with the house. All that’s left is to find out the closing date.
