I had a slow start to the day. It was grey and overcast and gloomy-ish when I woke up. That’s not really conducive to wanting to bound out of bed. So, I didn’t. But, I did eventually roll out of bed and made my way to the shower. Nothing like a hot shower to start the day. And soap. Soap is good, too.

I got a call this afternoon with good news: It seems that I am going to be made a job offer. That was a definite rainbow in an otherwise dull grey day.
“That’s great! Now, I can stop worrying God and Ma about it!”

Dad was equally happy, but nowhere near as colorful in expressing it.

Not only could I hook it up to the KVM switch – which would it free up real estate on my desk – but I could move the G3 upstairs and use it for the recipe server. This would be good, as the G3 is able to access the interweb whereas the older Macs can’t.
