comics and animation, everyday glory, games, geekery, movies and TV, music, office antics, science and technology, sports, workout October 15th, 2009Yep, definitely time to change gears and have a little break.
So far, the day has gone well and has been incident-free. We like those kinds of days… especially when they fall on NBN Thursdays.
Wes and I hit the gym at lunch for a workout. I am trying to keep in mind that I can’t just jump back into the saddle and expect to be working out using the same weight for some exercises that I did before my hiatus. Nevertheless, we had a good workout:
- Sit-ups (incline): 3 sets/20 reps
- Lower Back Extensions: 3 sets/12 reps
- Bench Press (decline): 3 sets/12 reps, 185 lbs
- Flys: 3 sets/10 reps, 110 lbs
- Shoulder Press (machine): 3 sets/10 reps, 60 lbs
- Compound Row: 3 sets/10 reps, 140 lbs
- Curls (dumbbell): 3 sets/10 reps, 25 lbs
- Push-ups (elevated): 3 sets/10 reps
Pre-workout weight (morning): 184.5 lbs
