It’s (theoretically) Comics and Sushi Wednesday! “Theoretically” because most of the usual suspects aren’t going to be able to make it today. I will get comics, sushi is on the fence, though. We’ll see.
Last night, Chris came over and we played HeroClix. It was a chance for us to try out some barrier “house rules” that I found on ToyChop. In order to keep it as balanced as possible, we played the same team: Fantastic Four (from the last Starter Set), with no Feats or BFCs. Chris won the game, but it was to try the new game ideas; the house rules added a little something to the game without unbalancing it… at least as far as we could tell. We still want to test them out a little more.
My Silhouette SD arrived last night, but I didn’t get a chance to play with it. Maybe I’ll get the chance to do so tonight. Of course, I also need to cut out a lot more foamcore tiles and, unfortunately, the SD won’t do that for me. But, the fact that it will cut out tiles and posts and walls is a definite plus.
