“Horizon to horizon, memories written on the wind…”
everyday glory May 10th, 2005Monday
I am more than “a little” surprised by the fact that I’m not tired. I got three (3) hours of sleep last night. Maybe a little more, but I doubt it. I think that the worst thing about the lack of sleep was that I was yawning throughout the day.
Tonight, we decided to forego poker and have a quiet evening at home. I got to watch 24. I understand the idea of Presidential succession, but I still find it hard to fathom how the character of (Vice-) President Logan ever made it to the 2nd highest position of power in the U.S…. let alone the fact that he is now acting-President (they invoked the 25th Amendment, Section 4, I believe).
I also set up the Vonage line. It works pretty well. Of course, I’ve only made one call on it, so far. But, that’s not the point. The point is: It works. Now we just need to call the respective family units and tell them the new number. (One down, a bunch more to go…)
