Another fine day in the neighborhood. Mr. Rogers would be proud.
Jess and I stopped off to see Jenny… but she was at the Prince concert. From there, I had to stop at Borders to look up a couple of things and then home. On the way, Dad called. We had a semi-three-way call between Jess, him and me. I told him my “theory” as to why people have children: To do the yard work. It made him laugh. I then explained to him how I spent part of yesterday afternoon tearing out branches of the lilac shrubbery. (Sidebar:
