I was up, for reasons that I have yet to discern, at 8:30 this morning. I lazed about the apartment for a couple of hours and then got in gear and headed to Borders. I had a new idea for a drawing and found what I considered the perfect basis for it. I will do a little more work on it tomorrow. So far, I’m rather happy with it.

and I went to Steve and John’s for dinner, croquet and conversation. It was quite fun. Even for their informal gatherings, they put on quite a to do.
