The work week is at an end… and it ended well. I had a case of “the Fridays,” so work was… work, so to speak. But, I managed to make it through. I met up with my friend, Georgia, for lunch at Thai Village.

Post-work, I came home and hopped on CoH for a bit. Didn’t really do much to put a dent in the XP bar, but I did have fun. So that’s still a “win.”

Off to Clitorati. Once again, put up a very good challenge in the crossword. We were a small gathering, but we had a good time. At dinner, news blurbs popped up on ESPN about the plane that slid off the runway today (with Yankees’ player Alex Rodriguez on board). That led me to talk (quite a bit) with about his thoughts on flying and his experiences as a pilot. I learned more than “a few” things about what goes into getting a plane – of any size – off the ground. Not so much in the sense of physics; he discussed some of the things that a pilot – or in the commercial space, the airline – has to do and has to know (or calculate) in order to be in compliance with safety guidelines and regulations.

Post-Clitorati/dinner, I went back to Paragon City. I got on a couple of teams. I died a couple times. But… I’m that much closer to Security Level 45 (three bubbles to go).

Stray Toasters
Nice thought… but ain’t gonna happen tonight.

Namaste.
