I slept in this morning. Not intentionally, but I did, nonetheless. It had something to do with turning off the alarm and falling back onto the bed. So, an hour and some change later, I finally made some headway into getting ready for work.

When I got home, the first thing that I noticed was that someone had left a packet of dishwasher liquid and rinse aid on my counter. You would have thought that the first things I would have noticed were the new fridge, dishwasher and stove. Nope. I didn’t. It took a couple of seconds of mental gymnastics for me to go from “Why there would be dishwasher soap on the counter?” to “They must have brought the new appliances” and looking around to see them. Yep… I’m a genius.

After looking at the new toys, I played City of Heroes. And, because I was a little too headstrong, promptly wound up getting myself killed by a cadre of Nemesis soldiers and automatons. *sigh* I went back and – after devising one of those “strategy” things – I dispatched them. The rest of the evening was pretty relaxed. I watched CSI, ate, washed the dishes and then decided to take a bath. It was good. I read a few chapters of Heir to the Empire, I like it.

Stray Toasters

  • I believe that tonight’s snack shall be tasty iced creams.
  • : Preview of Catwoman #60
  • Discworld Cake. No, really… it’s a cake… made to look like Discworld.
  • Moab really isn’t that far away. And, it’s the off-season.
  • Next up on the Covet List: LEGO Ice Bricks.
  • …the LEGO Salt and Pepper Shaker Set is kind of amusing, too.
  • Both of them would go nicely with my LEGO Mug.
  • Umm… Shocking!
  • I’ve had snippets of Vince Guaraldi’s Linus and Lucy, better known as “The Peanuts Theme,” running through my head at various points today. Speaking of which, you can watch It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown on YouTube.

Namaste.
