“Everybody need reverse polarity…”
everyday glory October 8th, 2002Tuesday
This morning, Sissy (the Wonder Kitty) barely waited until I turned off the alarm before she was on the bed. It was kind of funny. The progression went something like:
- *alarm*
- ::: listen to song for a moment :::
- Sissy leaping on the bed. Hellooooo! Scratch me!!
It’s a good thing that she’s so cute. Got up, got ready, got to the gym.
Song of the Day: The Witch, by The Cult, from the CD “Songs from the Cool World”… which, if you aren’t aware, is the soundtrack from the movie Cool World. Horrible movie. Great soundtrack. In fact, the two best things about this movie (despite the fact that it starred Kim Basinger, Gabriel Byrne and Brad Pitt):
- The soundtrack.
- The words “The End” and the closing credits.
Watching this movie hurt so much that I friend and I named our scale for bad (and “not really good, but tolerable”) movies the “Cool World – Long Kiss Goodnight Scale.” And you KNOW that I consider Cool World a bad movie when I rank it lower than Deep Blue Sea, Batman and Robin, FearDotCom (see previous rant for details), and…. “that movie,” which shall not be named, but was based on a very popular role-playing game. *twitch*
And now… off to work.
Peace.
