Thursday
My weekend got an impromptu, early start today: I was sick. I’m not sure if it was because I ate something that didn’t agree with me or a 24-hour bug. Either way, at various times between 3:30 and… let’s call it 10:00, I developed a rather intimate relationship with the commode. Not fun.

After emailing my team lead and telling him that I would be late coming in – if I came in at all – I spent most of the day, literally, conducting inner eyelid studies, too. I just hope that I’ll be able to sleep tonight.

I haven’t even been to the HCC today. The closest that I got was the couch in the living room. However, on the “plus” side, I got to see the last forty-five minutes or so of Glory. I hadn’t seen it before, but from the portion that I did see, I can tell that I am going to have to purchase it. I also saw Baby, Hit Me 1 More Time, NBC’s version of VH1’s Where Are They Now. Tonight’s bands included: The Knack, Haddaway, The Motels, Tommy Tutone… and Vanilla Ice. Yeah, you read that correctly: “Vanilla Ice.” Most of the bands still sounded good. I’ll just leave it there.

Time to go soak in a hot bath and try to burn this fever out.

Namaste.
