Tuesday
“Jack Bristow” and “Scotty” both spoke to me at the gym this morning. Out of the blue. Just “Good morning” and “How’s it going,” but it was (nominal) conversation. And another thing: Why is it that people feel the need to primp and preen before going to the gym. It’s not like you are going to a social club, my opening statement notwithstanding. You are going to work out. That means, in some cases, you are going to get sweaty and stinky. What’s the point in applying “perfect makeup” or getting every hair into place if you are going to “workout?!” That’s just something that I have never understood. And, I probably never will. And I am fine with that.

Song of the Day: Today’s “Tuesday Two-Fer” comes from the band formerly known as Indigo Swing (currently known as “Indigo,” and with a different lead singer). The songs: Blue Suit Boogie and Reet, Petite & Gone

Again, check out the individual links (see yesterday’s post) to the shows for more information. However, let me note that there was an especially good interview with Branford Marsalis on Fresh Air. Today on Talk of the Nation, they are continuing their “Mens’ Health” series. Today’s topic: Depression.

Off to save the world!

Namaste.
