Wednesday
Three down and two to go.

All in all, it’s been a good day. There were new monkeys who joined the zoo today. Other than that, there wasn’t anything too out of the ordinary at work. In the words of Icehouse: N-n-n-nothing too serious.

On the way home, I picked up my brand-spankin’ new Passive Optical Enhancers. If all goes well, I’ll be glasses-free tomorning. Once I got home, I changed clothes and patrolled Paragon City for a bit.

Stray Toasters

  • Bret called tonight. Just checking in… and making sure that I saw his team bring home the Lombardi trophy.
  • showed me a site called JesusPets. I’m not sure which is more disturbing: The site or the fact that she found something online before I did.
  • I was talking with couple of coworkers about the model train show that I went to a couple of weeks ago and mentioned an upcoming show. That reminded me of a monorail that someone built in his backyard. (See? Building a BattleMech in the backyard doesn’t sound so far-fetched now, does it?) That, in turn, reminded one of the coworkers about this monorail, which he used to ride when he was on his mission in Germany.
  • If this is true, it will be interesting to see how it shakes out: Apple to take bite at Palm?
  • By way of Wired: Sharper Image, Better Performance (And, on top of that, they just look cool.)*
  • From North Sydney, Australia comes Patch Me Up, from Root Kit. (Warning: Geekery ahead.)
  • Superman. Bizarro. Brainiac. Luthor. Game on.
  • What happens when you introduce Richard Simmons into the Whose Line Is It Anyway? mix? This.
  • Ethics…? Who needs ’em? –
  • pointed me in the direction of this house. Make sure that you click on the “More Photos” and “Property Tour” links. Wow.
  • Check out the art of David Michael Beck. (comic book-related stuff, mostly)

Namaste.
