Today was a good day… and it went pretty quickly. I slept in a bit this morning, not terribly so, but enough to balance out the fact that I went to bed late… early… um… whatever.

When I finally got into gear, I headed to Dr. Volt’s and Jitterbug. Comics and coffee. *nod* Then, it was off to see the wizard! Ogden, to hit up The Bookshelf. I didn’t really know what I was hoping to find, but they didn’t have much that I was looking for anyway. I decided to check out some of the used books; that’s where I hit paydirt: I once again have a copy of The Way of the Peaceful Warrior. When I went to pay for it, the clerk asked, “So when is this movie coming out?!” I had forgotten that there’s an adaptation in the works.

Since I was in Ogden, I dropped in to see Dee, Kim and their boys. We passed a couple of hours catching up on what we’ve been up to over the past… far-too-long. It good to visit with them. We, once again, promised to keep in better contact with each other; I think that we’re going to try to catch Snakes on a Plane at Brewvies in the not-too-distant future.

Then, it was time to eat. After debating over what I wanted, I decided that Chinese food would fit the bill nicely. Next decision: Where? As I hadn’t been to David’s Kitchen in a while, I decided to go there. It was a good choice. Potstickers, beef lo mein and oolong tea.

Back home for a bit before heading to V.I. for Melody’s last Saturday there. The place was packed – they haven’t been that busy on a Saturday night in about two months. But, that just meant that the people-watching had more variety.

Namaste.
