Another day in the grind. So far, it’s been good: We’ve been talking Star Wars and how it is that anyone who isn’t/wasn’t Force-sensitive could possibly pilot a speeder-bike – at 200 MPH – through the forest on Endor’s moon… and not end up splattered on the side of a tree. That’s right, we talk about the deep subjects around here.

Last night was D&D night. Things went well… and not so well. Have you heard about the man who was booking a flight from Germany to Sydney, Australia but wound up in Sidney, Montana instead? No? Well you can read about it here. Our party had a similar thing happen: We were, in theory, being ‘ported to a friendly enclave across the desert. We missed. We wound up not only on another continent, but in a city that was considered “lost” nearly a millenium before. Under an ice cap. Oh, yeah… it was chock full of undead, too. Yeah, it was happy times. While the denizens weren’t necessarily “happy” to see us, they didn’t attempt to kill us on sight. That was a definite plus. We didn’t stay for tea, although we did ask a few questions, and we were on our way.

Stray Toasters

  • David Goyer is no longer attached to the proposed Flash movie.
  • Ghost Rider opens in a little over a week.

  • WizKids has announced HALO ActionClix.  Interesting…  No word on compatibility with HeroClix or HorrorClix yet.  Think about it though… The Master Chief vs. Galactus or Cthulhu.  The possibilities boggle the mind.
“Where is your Pillar of Autumn now, Master Chief…?”
  • The fourth movie in the Indiana Jones saga is slated to open Memorial Day 2008.
