Today has been a slow day.  I slept in (which was a nice thing).  Other than that, it’s been rather quiet and relaxing.  I felt rather… *blah* for most of the day, so having a day full of doing nothing was pretty much just what the doctor ordered.  And, the fact that tomorrow is still part of the weekend, well, that’s just icing on the cake.

The Adventures of Indigo Bolt
I haven’t spent much time in Paragon City of late, so I decided to check it out for a bit this evening.  There was crime afoot.  I joined a couple of teams and did my part to help eliminate it.  I died a few times, but by the time I left the city, I was debt-free and working my way to Security Level 44.  Only a little more than 1.7 million points to go.

I finally decided not only on a final look for my third costume, but also on what the fourth costume should be/look like:  I went with a more “retro” look (1, 2, 3) for the third costume; whereas the fourth one has an armored look (1, 2)… and should be a little better suited for sewer and underground missions.
Stray Toasters

  • I think that I’ll have to track down some cotton candy tomorrow.
  • “Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin died today.  I wasn’t a huge fan of his, but I admired his moxie and the fact that he seemed to really love what he did for a living.

  • Sissy was climbing on – and clawing at – the box in which my father sent my printer.  Shortly thereafter, she fell in.  The box is about half to two-thirds full of packing peanuts.  She didn’t quite seem to know what to do about that.

  • It’s been a while since I first posed the question “How fast would a cat have to go in order to stop a fully-loaded semi, traveling at 55 MPH” to .  From that question, we decided that the best way to do that – and not lose the cat, so to speak – would be to Teflon-coat it, so it doesn’t burn up from friction.  Oh, the joys of science.  It seems as though someone has taken their interest in science and applied it to B-movie monsters in a paper published in 1998: The Biology of B-movie Monsters

Namaste.
