“The change of a season is enough of a reason to want to get away…”
everyday glory November 25th, 2001The rest of Saturday was fairly mundane:
- A trip to the comics shop for me.
- A trip to the fabric store for Jess.
- Dinner at Guru’s with Jess and Angie.
- A trip to Barnes & Noble.
- Back home for a bit.
- Bowling (scores here) with Angie (ANG), Larry (MCN), Jess (JSQ). Scott showed up for moral support.
- A late bite to eat at Village Inn.
It snowed, off and on, all day; we now have snow in the valley. Here are a few pics of the day. Driving home from bowling was… slow. 25 MPH slow. And that wasn’t just on the side roads, Angie said that she was doing 25 on the interstate. Yay snow. Or, in the words of Jimmy Buffett:
- I gotta go where it’s warm.
I gotta go where it’s warm.
I gotta go where there ain’t any snow,
Where there ain’t any blow,
‘Cause my fin sinks so low.
I gotta go where it’s warm.
I got to chat for a couple of minutes with Mom after we got home. And now it looks like the power is trying to decide if it wants to stay on… Great. No better time to wrap this up than now, under those circumstances.
Peace.
