It’s the end of the week. A shortened week, sure… but that’s not the point.

Today was a rather uneventful day at work. At lunch, Tommy and I introduced Brice to Crack: the Addiction Magic. While he’s played other CCGs, it was his first time playing M:tG. He did well. He came in second in the first game we played and he won the second game. A good portion of the rest of the workday was spent talking with Jason about a server problem.

Post-work, Cliterati. (We should really cement the spelling on that, whether it should be “Clitorati,” given the discussion that led to using this name, or “Cliterati,” as we most often gather in a bookstore.) Small gathering tonight: , , , , and Vikki (‘s sister). Tonight, I regained my Crossword Challenge crown from . Over dinner, we discussed who would be in positions of power if ran the world. We unanimously agreed that her best appointment was as her War Minister, a position that not only made him effectively the Secretary of Defense, but also the general Arbiter of Law (incl. jurisdiction over police functions).

Stray Toasters

  • I tried calling my uncle today… but he wasn’t in. Neither was my mother. *shrug*
  • I found this recipe for a Green Tea Martini in Southwest Airlines Magazine

    4 oz. green tea, chilled
    8 oz. ice-cold lemon vodka
juice from one chilled lemon or line

Shake all ingredients with ice in a shaker.
Strain into chilled martini glasses (rimmed with sugar, if desired)

    Makes four (4) martinis.

  • Cowgirl Chocolates
  • The artwork of Adam Benton: Kromekat
  • I picked up two weeks’ worth of four-color distraction today. I also picked up the books from last week’s Free Comic Book Day. In addition to the books, I also picked up a free piece of promotional plastic crack: Wolverine…which I had previously thought that I had missed out on.
  • Speaking of plastic crack: *covet*
  • : Whatever problem you were having with the site earlier seem to have worked itself out.
  • For Nyx, with love –
  • I know that Hallowe’en is still many months away, but it’s not too late to start thinking about costume ideas. With that in mind: A Costumed Life: Christian Smith – an interview

And that’s a wrap.

Namaste.
