I slept in a little this morning – about forty-five minutes. It was nice to be able to do so. I pulled myself out of bed, got ready, and we were out the door. Mistake #1 on my part: Not stopping to get something to purge the blood in my caffeinestream. Oh, well.

Work was good… despite the fact that I desperately wanted to conduct inner eyelid studies on more than one occasion.

After work, it was a quiet evening in.

Stray Toasters

  • ‘Nine is running at full speed, with the video card running smoothly. I am rather happy about this development. It also means that I am one processor away from having another computer around here, since I kept the second motherboard that I got when I was having problems getting the video card to run.
  • I neglected to mention something yesterday: While out with , someone called his cell phone. It took me about five seconds to recognize that it was his phone making noise. It took at least another seven for me to identify just what his ringtone was: The Spirit of Radio by Rush. I was immediately full of ringtone envy.
  • Gummy worms. *nod*
  • The site for X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse has “unlocked” a new character from the game: Sunfire. And it looks as though they are using both the Marvel Universe version and the “Age of Apocalypse” version.
  • I read Marvel’s The Ultimates 2: Annual #1 yesterday. It was an interesting story, told from the point of S.H.I.E.L.D Director, General Nick Fury. It was a different spin on a “superhero” book. When I hit the last page, I literally laughed out loud. The plot twist made buying the issue completely worth the purchase price.

Namaste.
