So, kicking off today’s workout…

Three sets of flat bench press at 200 pounds.  Actually, it was:

  • Set 1 – 200 pounds/10 reps
  • Set 2 – 205 pounds/10 reps
  • Set 3 – 205 pounds/8 reps and 200 pounds/3 reps

Sure, it’s five months past the date that I wanted to be there, but we’ve been doing a few other things in our routine.  Oddly enough, I’ve been able to do sets of 200 pounds on a decline press for some time now.  But, that’s not the point…

But the point is: I did it on the flat bench.

Oh… and it hurt.
(But it was worth it.)
